PORTFOLIO MANAGER, ANALYST
Dan is a founding member of Jackson Square Partners, serving as a portfolio manager and analyst since its inception in May 2014. He has spent more than two decades with the team. Previously, he was a portfolio manager of the Delaware Investments Focus Growth Equity team from April 2005 to April 2014. Prior to joining Delaware Investments, he was a principal and portfolio manager at Transamerica Investment Management, where he also managed sub-advised funds and institutional separate accounts. Prior to joining Transamerica in 1998, he was a portfolio manager with The Franklin Templeton Group. Dan received an MBA and bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of California at Berkeley. He is also a CFA charterholder. In his free time, he enjoys biking, hiking, swimming, reading, and spending time with his family. Dan’s philanthropy includes participating as a board member of a foundation supporting secondary education and volunteering at local Alameda charities’ functions and events.
